Quick Start Guide
Step One: Run the Setup Wizard:
Before you can clean your system you will need to run the Setup Wizard.
During the setup process you will determine how the software functions.
Each screen will contain instructions that you should follow in order
to make the software run the way you want it to. You will only have
to run the Setup Wizard once, after that all your settings will be saved.
You can edit them at any time in the future. The software will not actually
clean anything from your computer until you finish the Setup Wizard
and click “Clean Now” on the Main Screen. You can also control exactly
what will be erased from your system from the Main Screen. For example,
if you aren’t sure which cookies you want deleted, or you want to keep
them all for now, don’t worry. Once the setup wizard is complete you
can uncheck “Cookies” on the Main Screen and no cookies will be removed
from your system.
Click the Finish Button when you are done to return to the Main Screen.
Step Two: Check the options on the Main Screen
Once you have finished the setup wizard, look at the options on the
main screen. You can uncheck options if you don’t want that particular
option to be run.
The items under Replace These Items are special: depending on what you
decided in the Setup Wizard these items may be saved or replaced instead
of just deleted.
The items under Delete These Items will be deleted entirely.

The items under Run These Plugins are also special. These are Window
Washer Plugins. Window Washer is a program similar to this one, with
less features. However, Window Washer does have free Plugins that can
clean history lists for about 150 different software titles. This software

Plugins already installed. These Plugins are for very common applications
that most users already have. If you want to run any of the Plugins,
just check them off. You can also download more Plugins by clicking
“Download Plugins”.
Step Three: Time to clean your computer!
Once you have everything set up properly, click “Clean Now”. This
will start cleaning your system. You will see the progress of the cleaning
at the bottom of the screen. When the system cleaning is completed,
take a look at the log file that is now visible on the screen. This
will show you exactly what the software has deleted, kept, or replaced.
That’s it! You’re finished! Take a look at the dropdown Typed URL list
in Internet Explorer and you will see that only the sites you decided
to keep are still listed. The same goes for any other options you chose.
The next time you want to return your computer back to the way it is
now, just click the “Clean Now” button again!
