FindNot News and Articles :: The SSH will not connect! The SSH will not connect!
try the following:
1. Try connecting to other servers.
2. Check your browser configuration:
Internet Explorer Firefox
3. As a security precaution, PuTTY doesn't show your password as you type it. Just type carefully and press "enter".
4. If you have a software firewall installed, try disabling it as a test. The SSH is designed to get through most firewalls, but some software versions use application filtering. Be sure that yours allows PuTTY.exe to access the internet.
5. Are you connecting at work or school where the internet connection is proxied already? E-mail Support for more info.
