“I think we can do something about it. But it will take people of knowledge and goodwill to identify invasions, speak up, and to take action.”
That really is the answer. The more people that use the internet with a disregard for privacy, the more advertising agencies, governments (and worse) will take advantage. The "I have nothing to hide" mentality is the excuse of the lazy and the ignorant.
